The supply chain starts at the very beginning, at the farm and ends when our customers receive the fruit. Supply chain concerns all the factors that affect the fruit getting to its final destination.

Norton Folgate is continually looking at various ways of making our supply chain more efficient, cost effective and more environmentally friendly.

How we handle our fruit is an integral part of the supply chain. Norton Folgate has based its operations in Sheerness in Kent at a dedicated fruit packing, storage and distribution facility run by FreshChain Ltd. By working closely with FreshChain we are able to access efficiencies in all areas of the supply chain that we could not do on our own.

Packaging is an area of focus for Norton Folgate. We believe that by reducing the amount of packaging used throughout the supply chain, will not only be more cost effective, but also reduces packaging waste, helping our environment.
