Plums
There are many different shapes, sizes and colours of plums, which are usually categorized into red, black or yellow fruits. Plums are typically smaller than a peach or nectarine and each variety has its own unique flavour. An oval fleshy fruit which is purple, red, or yellow when ripe, containing a flattish pointed stone and white, orange, red or purple flesh.

Varieties
These are some of our preferred varieties:
- Autumn Red - A red plum
- Flavour King - The flavour has often been compared to that of bubblegum!
- Sapphire - A red plum which may have a yellow background. These are very quick to ripen naturally giving a really juicy eat.
- Pioneer - A South African red plum which may have a yellow to green background. These are very quick to ripen turning the skin bright red and flesh yellow and juicy.
- Angeleno β Traditionally a plum which will taken from Chile in the UK from Sept though to Nov. Known for itβs strong shelf-life. A black plum, with creamy coloured flesh. Naturally firmer in texture and delicately sweet flavour.
- Santa Rosa β A red plum with yellow/red skin and deep yellow juicy flesh.
- Black Diamond - This is a black plum which is typically firm in texture, with creamy colour flesh and sweet flavour.
- Songold β A yellow plum with a green/yellow skin, turning deep yellow when ripe. It is a yellow flesh variety with high sugars levels and juicy eating quality.
